bettersweet celebrates 15 years!

A little over a week ago, Bettersweet had a birthday- on 5/5 we turned 15!  We didn’t want to compete with Mother’s Day, so we decided to save our celebrating for just a bit.  Check out our a la carte menu for next week to see how we’re extending the party to you. 

In the midst of all that excitement and what truly feels like there’s no way we’ve frosted through a decade and half, there always comes a few changes with age.  Please take a moment to read through the little bit of housekeeping below so you’ll be in the know. 

~ With the end of spring and beginning of summer brings a full calendar for all of us. Here at the bakery, our wedding & event calendar is either at or near capacity each weekend this summer.  While being busy is good for business, it means our availability for custom orders decreases.  Effective mid-May, we are requiring at least a 2-week lead time for all custom orders.  With that being said, once we reach capacity for any given date, we may have to decline your order.

We’ve often been able to squeeze in last minute orders, however mostly likely we will not be able to accommodate requests outside of our new ordering guidelines.  We will continue to offer extra goodies for walk in purchases when the bakery is open and our weekly a la carte menu [which is moving to Thursdays!]

~ Our hours are changing for the summer! We’ll be open for pick ups on Thursdays from 2-6 pm and Fridays from 10-4 pm. Our weekly capacity will be posted and updated on our website.  Just click on the NEWS page. 

~ Due to the unpredictable increases in food costs, we are currently only able to quote pricing for the current month. Please know that if and when we have to increase our prices, it’s only because we truly have to cover raw product increases on our end.

~ With all the busy-ness in the kitchen comes less time at our desk! This means email messages and voicemails cannot always be returned within a couple days.  Please allow 4-5 business days to hear back from us prior to calling or emailing again.  We will do our best to get back to you sooner but thank you for your patience.
