~ PEANUT BUTTER PUMPKINS: we’ve whipped up a new peanut butter sugar cookie recipe, rolled and baked some fabulous pumpkins and glazed each cookie in a thin sweet chocolate.  A cute jack o’ lantern face will be piped in orange on each cookie.  [$16/dozen. Minimum order 1 dozen]

~CHOCOLATE MUMMY BROWNIES: last year’s fan favorite!  our six chocolate brownie recipe is cut in large circles and frosted to resemble a super cute, friendly mummy face.  [$10/box of 6.  Minimum order 1 box].

~ BABY BOO CHOCOLATE CREME SAMMIE’S: have you ever tried our signature homemade Oreo-like cookie?  If yes, you know what we are talking about.  If not, WELL THEN!  For the upcoming holiday, we’ve gone smaller and colorful!  Don’t miss out on these bite size sweets.  [$6.50/dozen, minimum order 1 dozen package]

~MONSTER MASH SIZED CUPCAKES:  A perfectly wrapped tasty gift, available only during our Halloween menu.  Enjoy an over, over sized caramel apple cupcake.  Caramel cake is baked with fresh apples, filled with our signature vanilla creme and frosted with a cinnamon apple butter cream.  Topped with either fresh toasted pecans or chocolate candies.  Individually packaged on a stick in clear window box~ just don’t pull them out of the box by the stick!  perfect for a tasty gift!  [$4.50 per cupcake, Minimum order 1 over sized cupcake.  Please note pecans or chocolate when ordering].

~TRICK OR TREAT CUPCAKES;  each 1 dozen box includes an assortment of the following three flavors [4 of each flavor] in our MINI cupcake size:
Fun-illa-fetti [black and orange sprinkles] w/ double vanilla creme filling, BSB’s butter frosting.

~M’s SPOOKY CRUNCH: Need a little something special and sweet?  Margo’s getting ready to craft up a popcorn based snack mix, with festive chocolates, candy corn, eyeballs and other sweet surprises.  Yes.  Eyeballs.  [Minimum order 1 bag, $4/bag]

a few updates for the rest of our fall season…

~We will be posting our THANKSGIVING MENU online and sending it out via email on Sunday, 11/1.  All of the details will be there, so if you are thinking ahead [always appreciated], we have you covered.
~Then our HOLIDAY MENU will be posted and emailed out on 11/19 [one week prior to Thanksgiving].  If you haven’t experienced our Holiday menu in prior years, you are in for a treat… many treats that is.  This is our busiest and most exciting season of the year.
~Our hours change from Thanksgiving through New Years.  These pick up times are firmly set so that we can professionally manage the sheer volume of holiday orders we receive.
~Bettersweet will be closed for our annual winter break from January 1st-15th, 2016.  We like to give everyone an early heads up!

At Bettersweet, we have always been in business to offer the an extremely high quality of product alongside superb service.  We’re still [and ever stronger] committed to that claim 8 years later!  Each year we spend time reviewing our rising costs, the volume of orders we can realistically accept as well as the time we need to give to our own growing family.

In light of our annual cost and budget review, there’s a few items we can no longer offer at the same price point as in the past.  Please take a moment to read through a few highlights below and keep this in mind the next time you are perusing our site prior to placing an order.

~We’ve added our cupcake information to our cake page tab.  Previously cupcakes have been under our bakery tab, but hopefully this will help in maneuvering our site.

~Raspberry filling lovers, please realize this is now a specialty filling with an additional cost per order.

~A few of our other flavors have become specialty as well.  We’ve moved away from offering a handful that truly are ‘never’ ordered, and we’ve added a few new flavors as well!

~We will no longer be offering our shaped cakes.  Jen would love to ‘draw’ a whimiscal and custom design on your cake, so no need to worry about tractors and firetrucks and butterflies…

~We will be reserving homemade pies for the annual Thanksgiving holiday only.

~Our signature hand rolled truffles will only be available as preset holiday assortments.  Please keep an eye out for these special holiday menus!

~All cake and cupcake pricing now INCLUDES THE BOX FEE.

These spring favorites have made it onto our menu once again! We’ve taken our best selling cupcake [french vanilla cupcakes w/ raspberry creme filling & BSB’s butter frosting] and dressed them up a bit…by adding some fresh vanilla bean to the filling and a touch of whimsy with our super cute bunny sugars. Perfect for those little sweet tooths after an egg hunt. Minimum order 1 dozen $22/dozen

Lemon Raspberry~ A zesty vanilla-cookie like crust begins this desserts journey into the delicious. Layers of fresh raspberry and tart lemon cheesecake are finished with our fresh amaretto hinted raspberry compote. Certain to inspire mouthwatering at any Easter celebration. 9 in $38

Orange Dreamsicle~ Spring has arrived!… at least to your taste buds.  Fresh, zesty and oh so creamy, this bright and sunny colored treat will be a welcomed addition to your holiday feast.  9 in $38

SPRING CAKES:

Springtime Vanilla Blueberry~  Our golden butter vanilla cake is layered with a refreshing mixture of our blueberry orange compote and sweet vanilla creme.  Finished with cream cheese frosting and cherry sugar decorations.  8in  $30

HOP to it!~ Our annual bunny shaped cake will be ready for anyone wanting a cute and whimsical treat.  You chose your flavor combination.  Serves 12-16 guests.  $28-30 [depending on classic or specialty favors chosen]. Simplistic springtime decorations will finish each cake.

Hummingbird~ A brand new recipe here at the bakery!  We’ve taken the classic hummingbird cake and put our own touch on it.  Think of a cinnamon, banana, pecan, pineapple batter with layers of creamy cheesecake creme and cream cheese frosting.  You won’t be disappointed!  8in $32

EASTER EGG CUTOUTS:

This year we’ve scrounged up some new shapes and decorating ideas.  Won’t you be eggstatic over the results?  Never mind our corny jokes, you’ll be in love with our signature cutouts.   Minimum order 1 dozen boxed cookies, $14/dozen.

M’s holiday cutouts:  You will get 6 of her holiday cookie designs per order… and she’s SO EGGCITED to get started~  Minimum order 6 cookies, $4 per 1/2 dozen.

HOLIDAY HOMEMADE OREOS:
Can’t wait until summer?  Thinking about those tempting little chocolate filled sandwich cookies from the farmer’s market?  We’ll, you’re in luck!  Our signature homemade oreos are boxed by the dozen, complete with festive colored pastel filling.

SUNDAY BRUNCH TEA BREADS:

The perfect accompaniment for your weekend brunch or a simple and elegant hostess gift.  BSB’s breads are delicious, moist and come with a decorative ribbon and label.  Minimum order 1 loaf per flavor.  $6/loaf.

Just a little update on whats happening here at BSB:

~We reopen for pickups on Saturday 1/17 from 9-3 pm  and our standard business hours resume on Wednesday, 1/21.
