Beginning on Thursday, 12/4, our lobby tables will be filled with items available for walk in purchase.  Choose from pre-boxed cookie assortments, hot cocoa & marshmallows, teacher gifts, jar mixes and of course, extra treats!  This holds for any and all of our holiday hours through 12/31.

 As always, Bettersweet is striving to bring y ou the best holiday goodies without a severe jump in cost.  In previous years, we have hosted a cookie open house the first week of December.  However, due to increasing rise in food costs over the past several months, we will be highlighting one of our 24 cookie varieties every day instead of our open house.  Thank you for understanding and supporting our little bakery!

The Dolly ~this one is fantastic:  The cake itself is a soft balance of vanilla bean, fresh orange and hints of cranberry.  Filled then a cranberry orange compote crème and a thin layer of house made orange curd… you won’t be able to speak while trying this stunning centerpiece! $32.

Eggnog Holiday ~moist, buttery and topped with our own rum glaze and almonds… amazing!  * $28.

Coconut Creme~ our ever pleasant coconut cake is layered with signature vanilla creme, signature butter frosting and sweetened flake coconut.  A simple classic! $30.

Raspberry Cocoa Mousse~ three layers of delicate mousse are set on top of a chocolate cookie crust and finished with a fine European chocolate ganache.  $30.

Buche De Noel~ new this year at BSB! The fabulous French tradition comes alive here in Wisconsin.  A golden butter sponge cake is filled with EITHER classic chocolate mousse or mocha hazelnut mousse.  Tolled into a log with fresh buttercream icing, flaked chocolate and of course, festive edible decorations to make our holiday spirit swoon.  $40.

a few updates for the rest of our fall season…

~We will be posting our THANKSGIVING MENU online and sending it out via email on Wednesday, 10/29.  All of the details will be there, so if you are thinking ahead [always appreciated], we have you covered.
~Then our HOLIDAY MENU will be posted and emailed out on 11/13 [two weeks prior to Thanksgiving].  If you haven’t experienced our Holiday menu in prior years, you are in for a treat… many treats that is.  This is our busiest and most exciting season of the year.
~Our hours change from Thanksgiving through New Years.  These pick up times are firmly set so that we can professionally manage the sheer volume of holiday orders we receive.
~Bettersweet will be closed for our annual winter break from January 1st-16th.  We like to give everyone an early heads up!

Starting next weekend, Saturday 6/7, you can visit our booth downtown Elkhart Lake!  8:30-12:30 pm, RAIN OR SHINE!!! We are located on the lawn across from the red depot building.  Right on the corner, look for our sage green pop up tent.  We are planning to be there every Saturday this summer.

We are often asked what we have availible at the market.  Weekly we include a variety of homemade pies, cake slices, muffins, cupcakes, european fresh fruit tarts, peanut squares, brownies and other items we might be trying out recipe wise.  Most incredibly worth your stop!
