~ We do require a 2-week lead time for all custom orders.  With that being said, once we reach capacity for any given date, we may have to decline your order.

~ Due to the unpredictable increases in food costs, we are currently only able to quote pricing for a two month window. Please know that if and when we have to increase our prices, it’s only because we truly have to cover raw product increases on our end.

~ With all the busy-ness in the kitchen comes less time at our desk! This means email messages and voicemails cannot always be returned within a couple days.  Please allow 4-5 business days to hear back from us prior to calling or emailing again.  We will do our best to get back to you sooner but thank you for your patience. 

~Please note: A lot of our outgoing emails are not reaching their intended destinations. This seems to be a particular issue with gmail email addresses. The good news- adding us to your address book should eliminate the issue, gmail addresses or others. If you send us an email and don’t hear back after a few business days [we’re not around our computer much Saturday-Tuesdays] check your spam folder and of course, don’t hesitate to give us a call.

This week’s a la carte menu is serving the purpose of sharing our Mother’s Day specials with you.   We have just the treat if you’re still looking for a little something to tangibly tell your mom [or your kid’s mom] how much you appreciate them.   Or if you need to hint to your hubby what to order for you!

Saturday, 5/7 between between 9-2 pm.  

Placing your order:

Can be done via our website, or giving us a call at 920/893.0617.  Please denote your requested pick up time and please provide a contact phone number for your order. 
We do reply to every email and voicemail we receive!  If you don’t hear back from us in 2 business days, please contact us to make sure we received your order.  Order deadline is Thursday, 5/5 at NOON.

On to the sweets!
Please note, the following Mother’s Day menu items will be available ONLY on Saturday 5/9.

Signature cakes!  A special for this menu only, we’re offering some of our signature cakes in a 6” single layer version [8″ tall is typically the smallest size you can order signature cakes in.  Perfect for a gift or small gathering, each cake will serve 3-4 guests].

~ Razmon Delight:  our newest signature cake starts with a raspberry vanilla batter, is filled with mascarpone lemon creme and finished with a touch of raspberry infused cream cheese frosting.  $17.   

~ Strawberry Margaretta: to our strawberry cake batter we add margarita mix,  fill the cake with a lime curd champagne creme and finish off this creation with a pale green vanilla bean butter and a dusting of flaked sea salt.  [All ingredients in this cake are non-alcoholic].  $17.

~ A Pie from Boston: classic vanilla cake is generously filled with a cooked vanilla custard and ‘frosted’ with a sweet chocolate ganache.  $17.

Cupcakes! 

Peanut Square: We couldn’t resist adding these jems to the list. Vanilla cupcakes w/ vanilla creme filling, butter frosting and the frosting completely covered in freshly ground, salted Spanish peanuts.  4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

Chocolate Blackberry Lavender: this is a new creation just in time for some sunny spring weather!  Dark chocolate cupcakes are filled with blackberry compote creme filling and then frosted in the prettiest shade of lavender buttercream frosting- which has been infused with both lavender flowers & blackberry preserves.  This combination is so lovely and so unique!  4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

Hummingbird:  if you’re familiar with the iconic hummingbird cake flavors; banana, pineapple, cinnamon & pecans, you’ll be pretty excited to try our version, topped with edible wafer butterflies! 4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

French Macarons: Elizabeth at Cedar Springs Floral Co. is at it again!  Look at her flavors for a very special Mother’s Day box:

Lemon Sandwich Cookies:  These little gems have been a favorite for almost 14 years here at the bakery.  We traditionally only let them out at Christmas time but after their standing ovation on our Easter menu, here we go again.  Two lemon shortbread cookies are sandwiched with a zesty lemon creme filling and finished with a candied lemon piece. Refreshing and addicting.  $10, 1 generous baker’s dozen box.  

Abe’s Cake Slice:  prepare yourselves for someone new cutting and filling cakes!  We’ll keep him on single layer cakes to start.  🙂  Vanilla bean cake, lemon curd creme filling & cream cheese frosting.  Simple spring colored sprinkles on top of each piece. $3 per slice.

Easter orders:

Just a bit of housekeeping and bits of information:

~ Our regular weekly hours for custom pickups are currently Thursdays from 4-7 pm and Fridays from 12-7 pm.

~ The bakery will be closed on Thursday 3/3 and Friday 3/4 to accommodate an out-of-town event.

~ The bakery will be closed the weeks of 3/21 and 3/28 to allow our decorator time to recover from surgery.   We look forward to reopening again for pickups on Thursday 4/7.  Thank you for understanding!

~ We don’t cover cakes with fondant and we’re not able to legally recreate any licensed characters, logos, fonts or images.

FRENCH MACARONS FROM ELIZABETH @ CEDAR SPRINGS FLOWER CO.~

If you haven’t tried Elizabeth’s fabulous macarons yet- you have no excuse at Valentine’s Day!  Perfect for gift giving, her boxes are filled with 6 macarons, 2 each of the following flavors: chocolate caramel, white chocolate raspberry, and red velvet.  Each box of 6 is a steal at $12.  And for a few of you who might want to splurge in your gifting, she has 6 dozen boxes available, with the addition of a lovely fourth flavor: strawberry cheesecake.  [12 pc boxes are $24]

‘LOADS-O-CHOCOLATE’ BROWNIES~

The world would be quite topsy turvey if we didn’t include our brownies on our V-Day menu.  Enjoy a box of 6 heart shaped frosted brownies [and see if you can pick out the six different chocolates that we use to create them!]  Box of 6, $12.

CUPID’S LOVELY LAVA CUPS~

 Special for this time of year, you’ll receive a box of 6 individually portioned lava cakes.  Baked in a free-standing fluted cup, these lava cakes are ready for your dessert table.  Simply microwave for 20-30 seconds, add ice cream and splurge.  Instructions will be included.  Unlike most of our custom goodies, these treats are freezer friendly. Half dozen box, $14.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT DIY COOKIE BOX~

Inspired by everyone’s love of frosting cutout cookies but maybe not their love of baking them…  we’ve created a box of various sized heart shaped cutout sugar cookies.   Included is a generous container of tinted butter cream, festive sprinkles and a baker’s HALF DOZEN cookies.  $12 per kit.  

CHOCOLATE DIPPED SAMMIES~

Our famous sammie sandwich cookies have a tinted filling, are half dipped in decadent chocolate, drizzled with a little more chocolate and finished with a touch of edible silver glitter. Half dozen box, $9.

ABE’S SPECIAL SPRINKLE COOKIES~

This creative baker is planning to add a little tint of festive color to his nearly famous cookie recipe.  Soft and sweet, with all the love a little person can muster.  $3 per half dozen.  

LOVE BUG’S CUPCAKES~

This year, we’ve filled our over-sized cupcakes with love [but not bugs].  Minimum order 1 oversized cupcake, $5.  Each cupcake will be individually boxed and decorated, perfect for a little gift!  Choose from the following flavors:

Car bomb [perhaps for the gentleman in your world]- chocolate stout cupcake w/ irish creme filling & whiskey bourbon butter frosting.  Finished with a bit of chocolate decor.

Festive sprinkle [perfect for a kiddo of any age]- pink & red vanilla sprinkle cupcake filled with marshmallow sprinkle creme and frosted with our signature butter and finished with edible hearts.

The classic [you can’t go wrong with this one]- french vanilla cupcake w/ raspberry compote creme filling & signature butter frosting.  Edible white chocolate curls finish this masterpiece.  

Fantastically Fruity [unique but lovely]- Fresh orange chocolate chip w/ blackberry pomegranate compote creme filling & sangria kissed butter frosting.  Simply decorated in festive colors.

We’ve been highlighting & creating various bags for over two years now for you to send out a little encouragement into the world around you.  This holiday’s gift bag will be filled with the following treats:

For anyone who really is just looking for an individual treat, this option might be perfect.  Choose from the following four cheesecake flavors- you’ll receive one generous slice to enjoy or gift.  $5 per slice. 

Turtle, Cappuccino, Vanilla bean [with berry topping], or Strawberry & Cream [a new recipe for us- chocolate cookie crust with a layer of both strawberry and vanilla cheesecake on top.  

COOKIES FOR ONE~

Our last menu item may be the sweetest way to express your sentiment this holiday.  A large heart shaped sugar cookie is frosted, partially covered in tiny festive sprinkles and inscribed, “i love you”.  $5 per cookie, individually packaged.
