Only items from this menu may be picked up on 12/23.  You are welcome to pick up custom cake and cupcake orders for Christmas weekend on 12/21 or 12/22. 

Christmas orders can be placed at any time.  Payment options: cash or check.

We will also be showcasing some local artisan talent again this year in our lobby.

CHRISTMAS  COOKIES  

Can be ordered two different ways:

1. As individual flavors by the dozen. For example, 1 dozen ‘gingerbread trees’.  Minimum order 1 dozen per flavor, $12. 
2. As a pre assorted gift box, flavors from the cookie list below:

Petite~ 1/2 dozen pre assorted box.  Perfect for a simple gift or just a little taste. $7

Deluxe~1.5 dozen pre assorted box. A lovely array of flavors with a couple of extras of course! $18

If you would like to request specific flavors, they must be ordered by the dozen as the pre assorted boxes are put together daily with  the  flavor variety that is being created at that time.

DIY COOKIE KIT

Thinking of spending some time with your kids or grandkids decorating cutout cookies this season?? What if you didn’t have to bake the cutouts or gather the decorating supplies!  Bettersweet has put  together the solution in our annual classic   sugar cookie kits. This DIY box comes with a generous baker’s dozen of freshly baked cutout    cookies, our signature   butter frosting, and several containers of festive  sprinkles & edible decorations.

CHRISTMAS CAKES  

8” short [serves 6-8] $28 &  8” tall [serves 12-14] $44

BLACK FOREST ~ Your celebration centerpiece!  This light chocolate cake is filled with a specialty cherry whipped crème and our own slow simmered cherry compote.  Finished with  chocolate curls and a touch of fudge.  

SANTA CLAUS ~ Cocoa-mint cake filled with velvety fudge & then frosted with a minty butter cream to image Kris Kringle himself.  Also available without mint.

MERRY & BRIGHT~ Vanilla bean chocolate chip cake is filled with a cranberry pomegranate compote crème and finished with a whipped raspberry ganache cocoa butter.  Such a striking mixture of winter time fruits & decadent chocolate accents. 

FIRST FROST~ This triple vanilla creation is light and sparkly.       Vanilla bean cake is filled with crushed white chocolate crème and   frosted with our signature butter.  Decorated in icy blue rosettes with edible snowflakes. 

WINTER WOODLAND~ Our reimaging of the French Buche de    Noel, this golden vanilla butter cake is filled with your choice of either chocolate mousse creme or mocha hazelnut mousse creme.  Lightly frosted with cocoa butter and flaked chocolate to look like the bark of a freshly snowed on forest stump.  Complete with holly, mushrooms and of course, a cardinal.  

LOAF  CAKES  

Loaf cake serves 6-8 guests,  $14.

LEMON RICOTTA LOAF ~ This combination of refreshing lemon and classic pound cake finished with a light glaze has become a holiday classic. 

FROSTED GINGERBREAD~ Nostalgia of days past, this traditional cake is perfect for an afternoon treat or weekend brunch.

CHOCOLATE DIPPED SAMMIES

Our hand crafted sammie sandwich  cookies are half dipped in rich chocolate, drizzled with a little dark & white chocolate and finished with a touch of edible glitter.  Half dozen box, $10.50.

CAROLE’S GRASSHOPPER SQUARES

This chocolate mint treat has made our Christmas menu all 14 years!  A rich chocolate base is layered with a delicious minty cream and then covered in a decadent chocolate ganache.  6 piece box,  $25.  1 piece box, $4.25.

CLASSIC COCONUT MACAROONS

We really can’t call our baking season complete without creating these golden, sweet and hard to resist treats.  1 dozen package,  $12. 

ROSEMARY MAPLE PECANS

When everyone you know asks for these spiced nuts for gifts, you know they’re good.  Simple ingredients of butter,  maple syrup, rosemary and spice keep these toasted nuts healthy and just a bit sweet.  Half pound bag, $10. *

PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

Our rendition of this childhood favorite.  A perfect blend of peanut butter and chocolate goodness. 12 piece box, $16. *

PUMPKIN MEETS VANILLA:  a repeat from the last couple of years- because they are just that good!  A layer of vanilla cheesecake is topped with aromatic pumpkin cheesecake and baked onto a classic buttery graham crust.  Minimum order box of 4 bars, $20 or 1 individual bar, $5.50.  Each bar is approximately a 3-3.5 inch square.

PERSONAL SIZE ASSORTMENT: enjoy something new this year… with no cutting needed!  Each 1 dozen box of mini sized cheesecakes are perfect for your guests to try different flavors and will include 4 each of the following 3 flavors:  pumpkin, apple pie and vanilla cherry bourbon.  Box of 1 dozen mini cheesecakes, $20.  

CAKES All holiday cakes are available as an 8″ short [6-8 servings] or an 8″ tall [12-14 servings].

CARAMEL APPLE TOFFEE CRUNCH:  thinking of something a little different this year? Well then, you’re reading the right description.  Our golden vanilla cake has meet a touch of autumnal spices, is filled with both a layer of apple pie creme & caramel toffee creme fillings.  Finished with our cream cheese frosting and a generous sprinkling of toffee pieces.  8″ short, $28 or 8″ tall, $44.

HELLO DOLLY:  vanilla bean, fresh orange and hints of cranberry come together in this cake which is then filled with a cranberry orange compote creme and finished with our signature butter frosting.  8″ short, $28 or 8″ tall, $44.

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE: something new this year!  A pumpkin layer cake filled with brown chai spiced creme filling and brown butter frosting to make it one fantastic combination.  8″ short, $28 or 8″ tall, $44.

GINGERBREAD LEAF COOKIES:   the classic Christmas cookie recipe is coming out a few weeks early and finding itself as a leaf instead of a tree.  Delicate white piping will ensure a pretty & lovely treat.  Minimum order 1 baker’s dozen box, $12.

BROWN SUGAR ICEBOX COOKIES: This one comes from the nostalgia realm.  A golden brown sugar cookies has the surprising light nutty flavor of toasted hazelnuts and a light drizzle of chocolate.  Minimum order 1 baker’s dozen box, $12.

GLUTEN FREE SCONES: these treats are really more like a soft chocolate chip cookie perfect if you need to avoid gluten.  *Contains almonds.   Minimum order 1 dozen box, $15.  Also available dairy free, $16 per dozen.

GLUTEN FREE CUPCAKES: Individually boxed and perfect for a little gift or the gluten free guests coming to your celebration.  Vanilla gluten free cupcake w/ pumpkin creme filling & cream cheese frosting.  $4.50 each.  

TURKEY TROT SNACK MIX:  we love creating mixes for your snack tooth!  A nut free blend of salty and sweet.  Just wait until you see what we have put together this time.  Absolutely perfect for a little hostess gift or a treat for all the little turkeys in your world.  Minimum order 1 bag [approximately 2 generous cups], heat sealed and decorated, $5.50.

BAKERS IN TRAINING

Margo Claire’s Chocolate Eclairs: From scratch pastries are filled with a lovely custard crème and generously drizzled in decadent chocolate. Minimum order ½ dozen, $16.

Gobble gobbler cookies: Since he mastered these a few years ago, Abe is bringing back his edible turkeys!  By adding candy corn feathers, edible eyes and a sweet nose, our hand crafted sammies are barely recognizable but incredibly delicious!  Minimum order box of 4, $8.

~ We do require a 2-week lead time for all custom orders.  With that being said, once we reach capacity for any given date, we may have to decline your order.

~ Due to the unpredictable increases in food costs, we are currently only able to quote pricing for a two month window. Please know that if and when we have to increase our prices, it’s only because we truly have to cover raw product increases on our end.

~ With all the busy-ness in the kitchen comes less time at our desk! This means email messages and voicemails cannot always be returned within a couple days.  Please allow 4-5 business days to hear back from us prior to calling or emailing again.  We will do our best to get back to you sooner but thank you for your patience. 

~Please note: A lot of our outgoing emails are not reaching their intended destinations. This seems to be a particular issue with gmail email addresses. This week’s a la carte menu is serving the purpose of sharing our Mother’s Day specials with you.   We have just the treat if you’re still looking for a little something to tangibly tell your mom [or your kid’s mom] how much you appreciate them.   Or if you need to hint to your hubby what to order for you!

Please note, the following Mother’s Day menu items will be available ONLY on Saturday 5/9.

Signature cakes!  A special for this menu only, we’re offering some of our signature cakes in a 6” single layer version [8″ tall is typically the smallest size you can order signature cakes in.  Perfect for a gift or small gathering, each cake will serve 3-4 guests].

~ Razmon Delight:  our newest signature cake starts with a raspberry vanilla batter, is filled with mascarpone lemon creme and finished with a touch of raspberry infused cream cheese frosting.  $17.   

~ Strawberry Margaretta: to our strawberry cake batter we add margarita mix,  fill the cake with a lime curd champagne creme and finish off this creation with a pale green vanilla bean butter and a dusting of flaked sea salt.  [All ingredients in this cake are non-alcoholic].  $17.

~ A Pie from Boston: classic vanilla cake is generously filled with a cooked vanilla custard and ‘frosted’ with a sweet chocolate ganache.  $17.

Cupcakes! 

Peanut Square: We couldn’t resist adding these jems to the list. Vanilla cupcakes w/ vanilla creme filling, butter frosting and the frosting completely covered in freshly ground, salted Spanish peanuts.  4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

Chocolate Blackberry Lavender: this is a new creation just in time for some sunny spring weather!  Dark chocolate cupcakes are filled with blackberry compote creme filling and then frosted in the prettiest shade of lavender buttercream frosting- which has been infused with both lavender flowers & blackberry preserves.  This combination is so lovely and so unique!  4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

Hummingbird:  if you’re familiar with the iconic hummingbird cake flavors; banana, pineapple, cinnamon & pecans, you’ll be pretty excited to try our version, topped with edible wafer butterflies! 4 regular size cupcakes, gift boxed, $13.

Abe’s Cake Slice:  prepare yourselves for someone new cutting and filling cakes!  We’ll keep him on single layer cakes to start.  🙂  Vanilla bean cake, lemon curd creme filling & cream cheese frosting.  Simple spring colored sprinkles on top of each piece. $3 per slice.
